Photo Guidelines
Photos taken on most smart phones will yield nice results.
Here are some guidelines for best results:
A photo of one pet facing forward.
(Beach towels: the face needs to be facing directly forward or slightly off center)
A photo that is clear and in focus, not blurry.
A good photo will retain details when you zoom in.
(The photo background will be removed and the pet's name added.)
A photo with good lighting
A photo that contains the elements you want included in the portrait.
(If ears or feet are cut off in the photo, they will appear this way in the portrait. That is, your portrait will look just as your dog does in the photo. Please do not submit photos of pets covered in grass.)
If you upload a photo that is not usable for one of the reasons above, you will receive an email requesting a different photo.

Please keep in mind that the quality and resolution of your photo will in part determine the outcome.
